Congratulations to B, Alex and Eric for upholding their 1st place in the BHC Thursday night League.  They will represent the club again at the State league Championship on September 12, 2026

2026 BOULDER HORSESHOE CLUB

END OF SEASON PICNIC AND AWARDS 

September 13, 2026

10:00 AM - 3:00ish

September 13th will be our end of season picnic and awards ceremony. The club will provide a main dish, water and pop.  Please bring a side dish to share.  BYOB! 

We will start the day with our City Tournament for the travelling trophy.  This year we are adding a cash prize, each team playing, will pay $10 entry with the winner taking all. 40 shoes and I will be using end of season league handicap. Format will be A pitchers play each other. Same for the B and C pitchers. Teams can be your original Thursday night team or make your own with club members and/or qualified subs. This is a sanctioned tournament I will need teams to sign up by September 7th.

Afterwards, we will eat with the awards to follow. I will formally hand over the reigns to B. Bennet and Eric Robbins, who will take over the League Director role. 

Family are welcome to attend.

The horseshoe courts are located on Mapleton between 28th and 30th (map).  

The sport of horseshoes has been in Boulder since the early 50’s. Boulder Horseshoe Club offers friendly competition where you meet new friends and be outdoors. Horseshoe pitching has become a favorite outdoor sport. There is no age limit. 

Come compete against your neighbors and friends. Form a team of 3 or we can find you one.
